We started studying at the Montessori studio on Molodezhnaya when our daughter was 2.8 years old. When choosing a garden, it was very important for me the attitude of the leadership and teachers to the observance of the standards of the methodology, here they take this issue very seriously. I was bribed by the bilingual environment, while the development of my native language was important to me, because it is at this age that the child absorbs the structure of speech. I really liked the way the studio teachers talk with children. I have repeatedly observed the work of children in the classroom (parents have such an opportunity) and each time I went out in complete delight. What is happening behind the doors of the classroom is nothing short of a miracle. Children are so independent, self-confident, purposeful, able to concentrate on their tasks! Academic knowledge is also very impressive! I am glad that I can devote my leisure time with my child to my favorite activities: sports, music and dancing, without worrying about intellectual development. In the garden, my daughter learned to read and write, greatly expanded her horizons and vocabulary, and received a good basic level of English. And although mathematics is not at all our strong point, at the age of 5, our daughter calmly appeals with four-digit numbers. The school pays a lot of attention to working with parents, conducting training seminars and meetings with a psychologist. Thanks to this, I now look at education with completely different eyes. I regret that I did not learn about the technique earlier and missed a lot, but I am very glad that now there is an opportunity to continue Montessori education even after 6 years. Next year we will go to Elementary class. Hooray!
